Helen Meger passed away in Le Center on May 5th. Robert “Bud” and Helen, well known for owning Hosta Heaven, lived on the farm where The Log Church of Derrynane was located on the Heidelberg side of St. Thomas. Our sympathies to Bud and Helen’s family, especially the Plonski nephews, Greg, Dan and Jim, who grew to adulthood on the Le Sueur side of St. Thomas.

When asked ‘What are you going to do now, Cole?’ Just like his dad, he joked, “Go pro on video games, Grandma.”
He’s not royalty, but he might as well be. Michael and Dorothy Koller are proud to announce the birth of their baby boy! George Michael on May 2 at 5:45 am. He’s 8 pounds and 20 inches long. I stand corrected. Grandma Colleen says, “He is Royalty!”... and Duke Michael and Duchess Dorothy are doing fine.
