The next Mass at St. Thomas is Saturday, July 27 at 5 pm with Father Hessian.

Masses at St. Anne’s in Le Sueur are Saturdays at 5:15 p. m., and Sundays 8 and 10:30 a. m.

After a Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Father Hessian, Aggie Gill was laid to rest beside Alois here among our Dearly Departed in St. Thomas Monday morning, July 1. She was a wonderful person and a life long family friend. Our sympathy to Jerry and Sue, Mary and Joe, Mike, Pat and JoAnne, Joe and their families. Rest peacefully, Aggie.

Henderson’s Sauerkraut Days Tractor Ride went thru St. Thomas Saturday morning, 38 tractors... and it was a warm one! There was a good group of watchers, naming a few, the tailgate guys, Murphy group from Murphy’s corner, Shirley and Jenny Rutt’s bunch were there to cheer on tractor drivers, Grandpa Gary, Daddy Joe and brother Hunter. John and Joe May were among the drivers on the Henderson Tractor Ride as well.

The Sauerkraut Days Owl Parade, always one of the main events, was lead Tom Graham , on his 660 International and grandsons Andy and Tyler. Anna Baumgard and Grandma Loni danced with the group of female Sumo wrestlers, if you missed it... that ain’t happening again! Nice weather for Sunday’s parade. Many lined the street, St. Thomas folks included. Tom Goetzinger, KCHK manager and Prowrestler Kenny Jay, judged the Sauerkraut eating contest.

Joe May, Murphy’s dad, made the Dean’s List at Gustavus for the spring session. He’s in the nursing program. Way ta go, Joe!

Jim Oak celebrated his birthday on the 30th of June with Joan, their children grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loni celebrated her birthday with Tom, kids and grandkids. Jim has always threatened we’d celebrate together...Now our families are too big.
