Tom’s brother, Rog messaged us with sad news last Friday. “Gloria left us a few minutes ago.” Gloria, our sister-in-law, was a gracious lady, a kind hostess with a pleasant smile and laugh, a fine wife, Mom and grandmother. She will be missed. Our sympathies to Rog, her daughter Noreen, and all their precious grandchildren.

Congrats to Nathan and Kara Olson, the parents of Ames Eldridge, who was born on June 3, 2020 weighing 6 pounds, 9 ounces, and is 19 ¼ inches long. Sisters Eliza and Anja also welcomed him home. So far there’s two girls and a boy, just like their children’s great grandparents, Tim and Rosemary Burns started out with… and they had a total of nine.

Caroline Tuck received the sacrament of Confirmation at St. Anne’s on June 24.

Neela (0) versus slide at the playground (1). Neela O’Connell, Dan and Julie’s, added a broken arm to her 2020 list. She got her first ride in an ambulance and has visited 2 hospitals and a follow up with Ortho on Monday. Wonder what color she will get for her cast. She’s an O’Connell...could be red? She’s a bit Irish...could be green? She a cute little girl, she’ll look good in any color. Good Luck with that, Neela, and be careful.

This writers family came home on Sunday with pot-luck and partied on the patio. Jodi and Pat, Corey, Cari and Kevin and their families... Grandpa Tom took all the grands on a Kawasaki mule ride . It’s so good to watch family members together again, helping, talking, teasing, laughing. We started out with masks, we kinda kept our spaces... and we sanitized, sanitized...and sanitized, God bless.
