Mary Phillips has a Mother’s Plea and is reaching out to you and your family to request prayers for her son, Michael. “We found out this past week that Michael’s girlfriend is not a donor match. There was a huge mistake and we now know that she was not a blood type match - so not a donor match, like we were told over a year ago. Michael needs the transplant. We were assuming, it would happen within the next few months, but now all those plans are off. There are a number of cousins that have indicated they are contacting the transplant center, which is great news. Michael was in the process of transferring his case to the U of M when this problem was discovered. We need your prayers. Please pass this request on to your family.  If by chance anyone would like to consider being a donor, they could contact www.umnhealthlivingdonor.org . Michael's birthdate is 2/20/1992 and his blood type is O+.   Thanks for your prayers.” Mary Fogarty Phillips is one generation from St. Thomas... Michael - two...

Mary Jean Halloran and her daughters hosted a bridal shower for relatives, neighbors and friends on Saturday. The guest of honor was Tracy Callahan, who along with Ryan Halloran, is expecting the new arrival very soon.

Jerry and Sue Gill enjoyed a few days vacation to the North Shore last week, while this writer enjoyed a few days in the south at the Treetop Resort in the Ozarks, in a luxurious tree-house with her sister Dianne Burns, Dee’s daughter Deb, granddaughter Jasmine, and “son-in-law” Aaron. We had a wonderful time.
