LSH won last night in 10 innings against Sibley east. With rain delay it was a four hr game. Skeddy didn't see Matt was he out?
Just a cupple of games left lets go Giants finish strong.

Nice work Giants. Isn't that a season sweep over the rabid rodents from the west? Actually I haven't spoken with Matt recently. Hope he's not hurt. James-I just finished making three signs for the outfield fence up at Hilltop indicating distance. Blue numbers over a gold background. You think I could just go hang 'em up or would I have to get permission first? They look nice. Probably should've used thicker plywood though cuz if and/or when a ball smacks one of 'em I don't believe they'd hold up. Could hang 'em on the outside of the fence maybe. I'll do some sight testing.

The baseball field up at Hilltop. It's still being used by the C squad and probably others. Nice new fence already up too. Playing surface needs a lot of work still but hey, its a start. I stepped off how many feet it was to left, center, and right earlier this week. It's 321, 347, and 309 respectively. Seemed a lot farther than that when we were playing up there. Trees still overhang the fence in right though. Adds character.

Nice job!
I hear dugouts may soon be added to the field. Could that field have the makings for a town team facility?

There's plenty of space for parking that's for sure. The land between the bus garage and the field is ample enough on its own plus you got the space beyond the left field fence. The hillside along the 3rd baseline already provides a great sightline. A grandstand could be put along the 1st base line. Jordan's Mini Met has a set up similar except it's along the 3rd baseline. Oh the dreams!!!!

There have been great improvements to the field at Hilltop. It is also being used by the 9th Grade and B-squad teams. There is a 9th grade game there tonight against Jordan.
Hopefully some of the Summer leagues will be using the field also.

Oh i can see it now... a grandstand filled with locals watching Doug Thomas (still pitching), music piped in the PA between innings... Skeddy calling the game, sipping a cool beverage from the concession stand... ah zzzzzzzz. wake up Jeffrey!

Hey Diane, you think I could hang those up tonight? What time is the game?
